Thimoty Barbieri is a PhD and Computer Engineer. He teaches as a contract professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He is active in advanced consultancy in computer engineering and as  technical translator.

MY WORK

Since 1990 I work as a freelance consultant for courses, translations and software engineering projects. I have taught in different contexts and at different levels (university, enterprise training, statal base training programs), always keeping in focus a passion in telling and the eagerness of the attendees in learning. Since several years I work in the Computer Graphics and the Computer Arts markets, both in researching technologies and in maintaining and writing technical documentation.

My research fields at university are focused on Computer Supported Collaborative Worked systems based on 3D graphics tecnologies and web-oriented networking. I am also very active in exploring and using assistive technologies, applying Information Technology to help sensorially and cognitively impaired people.

I am also interested in scientific and didactic collaboration with universities in the Russian Federation.
